Governance is a framework for the regulations and practices that an organisation uses to manage and comply with its objectives, expectations, reporting requirements, and sets out the roles, responsibilities, and procedures for the effective and efficient conduct of its business.
We have two vacancies within our Clinical Governance and Information Governance Team. We are looking for conscientious and organised people to support the Governance teams in managing access to clinical and corporate systems, handling and responding to requests for information, and to undertake general administrative duties within a governance environment. You will be provided with appropriate in-house and external training for this role.

Main Duties of the Job
* To support the governance team to implement systems and processes in accordance with national and local policies and procedures for clinical governance and information governance.
* Investigate routine enquiries and queries from staff, patients, and the public.
* To assist in the development of systems, databases, webpages, and reports.
* Provide advice and guidance and deliver basic training or instruction.
* Maintain systems and databases.

Person Specification
Training and Qualifications
* Level 3 Qualification (A-level, NVQ, BTEC, City and Guilds) in a relevant subject e.g. IT and Computer Skills, Business, Health and Social Care.
* Relevant qualification such as European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or equivalent knowledge of computer system(s), such as Datix, Care Identity Management (CIM2), Microsoft 365.
* Experience of working in an office environment with demonstrable skills in areas such as systems and databases, administration, document and records management, data entry, data analysis, and data quality.
* Relevant short courses, such as communication, governance, Microsoft 365 or applications, project management, business, computer literacy.
Experience
* Demonstrate recent office experience or experience where interpersonal and telephone skills have been used.
* Demonstrable experience of using Microsoft 365 and office applications, databases, and systems, and the internet.
* Demonstrate recent experience of working with data and use of analytical skills, attention to detail.
Knowledge and Skills
* Ability to communicate information effectively in a busy environment e.g. email and telephone.
* Demonstrate problem resolution skills to determine data and information issues.
* Good organisational skills.
* Good written and verbal skills.
