Our client is seeking a Close Control Commissioning Engineer to provide engineering support to the regional client portfolio, including technical and engineering needs. They are a successful HVAC company that owns 3 different manufacturers and operates across 65 countries, having been in operation for over 100 years.
They are currently looking for a CCU Commissioning Engineer to join their team due to expansion across the UK. The ideal candidate will travel in and around London, carrying out technical support, commissioning, and diagnostic work across a wide variety of contracts that range from banks, insurance companies, data centres, and gyms.
Duties include:
1. Technical support, commissioning, and diagnostic work on AHU and Controls systems.
2. Providing technical support to clients and fellow engineers.
3. Ensuring all Health and Safety obligations are met and coordinated with the project delivery team.
4. Coordinating with the project delivery management team and liaising with planners.
5. Ensuring sites are maintained in a clean manner at all times.
6. Producing, managing, and maintaining critical spares lists.
Close Control Commissioning Engineer Position Requirements:
1. Understanding of HVAC / CCU controls equipment is beneficial.
2. Technical knowledge of Close Control and various HVAC systems.
3. Understanding of BACnet, Modbus, HVAC control software is beneficial.
4. City and Guilds 2079 or City and Guilds/NVQ 2 in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
5. Full UK Driving Licence.
6. Ability to pass or hold a DBS and security clearance.
Close Control Commissioning Engineer Position Remuneration:
1. Salary: £50-60k based on experience.
2. 50-hour contract, 10 hours paid travel and 40-hour site time.
3. Additionally, travel outside the 50 hours is paid at 1.5.
4. Overtime: 1.5x Mon-Sat, 2x Sun/Bank Holidays.
5. Company van - personal use to be discussed.
6. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays - option to purchase up to 5 more days.
7. Call out 1-7 with £150 standby, overtime, and travel pay.
8. Pension (5% EE, 4% ER).
