We are looking for an experienced Solicitor to join the Commercial Property team in our Ross-on-Wye office. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive experience in Commercial Property law looking for a new challenge and an interesting workload.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
1. Providing a first-class service to clients through effective handling of client files.
2. Managing and overseeing a caseload of commercial property matters, including acquisitions, disposals, leases and landlord and tenant disputes.
3. Providing expert legal advice to clients on commercial property transactions, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
4. Negotiating and draft commercial property contracts, leases and relevant documentation.
5. Developing and maintaining relationships with clients.
6. Collaborating with the commercial team and other teams as necessary.
What we’re looking for:
7. Minimum of 7 years’ PQE experience in commercial property law or substantial experience as a paralegal/legal executive handling commercial property matters.
8. Proven experience of managing a varied caseload of commercial property transactions from start to finish.
9. Strong technical knowledge and ability to deliver clear practical advice.
10. Great communication and negotiation skills.
11. Excellent client management skills.
12. Team player, whose personal ambition is expressed through team achievement.
13. A proactive, client-focused attitude with a strong attention to detail.
Location and working hours:
This is a hybrid position based in our Ross-on-Wye office. There will be an opportunity for you to work with other fee earners within the corporate team based at our other offices.
It’s a full-time position, 35 hours per week. We will consider applications from candidates looking for part-time positions.

You’d be joining an friendly and inclusive Real Estate team of 30 fee earners spread across our 5 offices.
The team has a broad range of specialism offering strength and depth and covering a diverse client base. As such it offers good quality experience across a wide range of commercial property work.
Key work areas cover commercial landlord and tenant and lease advisory work, secured lending and banks as clients, development of land for commercial and residential developers, industrial/warehousing, property and asset management and general estate/portfolio management, commercial businesses large and small needing new premises or moving premises both freehold and leasehold, corporate support and international investment in UK property. The team provides bespoke and highly technical advice to a wide range of clients from PLCs, international companies, pension funds, SMEs, sole traders, trusts and private individuals.
