Shift Patterns / Hours: Days: Monday to Thursday – 7AM-4PM, Friday – 7AM-1PM Shifts: Monday to Thursday – 6AM-3PM or 2PM-11PM, Friday – 6AM-11AM or 2PM-7PM Contract Length: 6 months Location: Newport, Wales Key Role and Responsibilities: The Assembly Operative is a member of a team responsible for carrying out various assembly procedures, including fitting components across Mechanical tasks within a Production environment to achieve the fully built vehicle. Follows specifications and other appropriate instructions and/or procedures to accurately assemble components on a train using a variety of tools and equipment. Carry out lean production activities. Record and report faults to relevant areas of production Ensure all records (manual and digital) are completed correctly and on time. The Candidate The ideal candidate will be highly motivated, with a willingness to learn and the ability to adapt quickly to new surroundings You will have a background in heavy engineering and an Mechanical skillset.
