Construction Manager - Mechanical and Electrical
Due to continued growth, the position of Construction Manager has become available to join our successful team based in Plymouth.
We are working on an infrastructure upgrade programme to support the MOD's future requirements in relation to both its warship and submarine programme.
This is an on-site role and all candidates must have a UK Passport and have worked in the UK for the last five years.
Key Accountabilities:
1. NVQ level 4, ONC, OND, HND or Degree qualified.
2. CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS)
3. Significant experience delivering large scale construction projects in a regulated environment.
4. Managed contractors to safely execute site installation works and followed operating procedures.
5. Nuclear experience and general safety case understanding.
6. Quality and Health and Safety focused.
7. Good awareness of CDM, construction practices and health and safety legislation.
8. Effective stakeholder management and understanding of integrated team delivery.
9. Contract management experience and ability to effectively manage daily site works at the work front.
10. Able to communicate effectively with operatives and management.
