Job Title: Physics Teacher Location: North West England, Cheshire, Poynton Job Type: Temporary (February 2025 - February 2026), Part-Time (4 days a week, every day except Thursday) Primary Industry: Education and Training Salary: £162 - £251 Per day (Teacher Pay scale; MPS1 - UPS3) Job Duties: Deliver engaging and informative physics lessons to students Develop and implement lesson plans in line with the curriculum Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments and examinations Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their learning Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment Required Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in any of the three main sciences Able to teach up to KS4 Physics ideally Experience: Prior experience teaching physics at the secondary school level Demonstrated ability to engage and motivate students Knowledge and Skills: Strong understanding of physics concepts and principles Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to tailor teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students Preferred Qualifications: Postgraduate qualification in Education Experience using technology in the classroom Working Conditions: Part-Time (4 days per week) Temporary position (Maternity position) Secondary School Classroom environment All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
