Windsor Forest College Group is looking for a Teacher of Health and Social Care to join the Windsor campus on a fixed term contract until July 2025, working on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities include:
1. Teaching BTEC Level 2 and 3 Health and Social Care and the ability to deliver BTEC Applied Psychology.
2. Regularly assessing student progress, preparing progress reports, and providing accurate and timely data and information.
3. Maintaining student morale and discipline both inside and outside the classroom.
4. Keeping up to date with curriculum development and assessment requirements.
5. Working effectively within a team to devise and maintain teaching strategies.
6. Supporting extracurricular activities, outreach, and liaison work.
7. Participating in the college's appraisal and performance management process.
8. Staying updated in relevant areas of professional expertise and developing industry/commerce links.
9. Attending relevant events and promoting the college's reputation.
10. Collaborating on course development and potentially undertaking course coordination responsibilities.
11. Other duties as required.
