Job Description for Inorganic Chemist
At our client, a leader in specialty materials, we're seeking an Inorganic Chemist to join their team.
Company Overview:
Our company specializes in developing and manufacturing pigments and nanomaterials. As an Inorganic Chemist, you'll contribute to creating novel advanced materials and synthesizing new substances for various applications.
Key Responsibilities:
* Create new ideas for novel advanced materials
* Synthesize new materials for technical applications like window films, inks, conductive coatings, laser marking, and dispersions
* Upscale laboratory procedures into pilot plant scale
* Solve technical challenges in new product development
* Work collaboratively with other team members and customers
* Provide customer technical support
* Analyze the performance of competitive products in customer applications
* Demonstrate the performance of products in various applications
Requirements:
* BSc, MSc or PhD qualified in Chemistry, Material Science, or related discipline
* Hands-on preparative experience, preferably in inorganic chemistry
* Critical, independent thinking with creativity and innovative approach to tasks
* Excellent communication and documentation skills
* Knowledge in one of the fields: inks, coatings, polymer processing, laser marking, or nanodispersions (preferable)
