To support growth and new direction we are seeking an exceptional New Business Development Manager to join our UK Sales division. For our business, we are seeking profiles already established within the UK market and with a track record of sales of printed textiles in the promotional, print on demand, retail, events and contract printing sectors.
We are looking to meet an experienced New Business Development Manager who has a proven sales track record working in the textile manufacturing sector. This sales experience may be from working for a manufacturer, retailer in the supply chain, as a supplier to retail or from textile sales businesses. The ideal candidate will have experience selling to multiple key accounts.
* We are looking for a self-motivated person and able to organise your own sales pipeline/agenda.
* We are seeking a well-connected and established sales personality within the U.K/European retail/short lead printing industry – Ideal profiles will be connected and experienced within the Promotional, Fashion, Charity, Contract Printing sectors.
* Must be able to demonstrate exceptional sales skills and will have a history of managing new business, maintaining current business and revitalising dormant contacts.
* Must be confident communicating to the highest standards both verbally and in writing, must be numerate and able to understand and analyse data.
* Practical experience and a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages is required.
* Must have excellent relationship management skills and be able to develop and maintain communication channels with both internal and external stakeholders. You must have a demonstrable compelling presentation style that delivers winning results.
* Must be a hungry and driven individual who measures their success by customer satisfaction and delivery of the sales strategy.
New Business Development Manager – Roles and Responsibilities
* Margin and Turnover focussed approach with accountability for sales and new business development in the United Kingdom market.
* Strategic plan – crafting a comprehensive plan across the market within the overall business strategy and setting targets for growth from a sales and business development perspective.
* Educating the business on adaptations needed to service new business sectors.
* Adopting a problem-solving mindset on all tasks and cooperating with internal stakeholders to deliver results.
* Involvement in wider business communication/strategy within the UK short lead printing model.
* Weekly reporting into UK Head of Sales with opportunities/pipeline updates.
* Frequent travel within the UK to sales meetings and management of trade events.
* Detailed reporting for each new business opportunity and sales lead.
* Pro-actively utilising each internal company department to support sales growth.
* Identifying/executing new market opportunities and feeding back to internal team.
* Account opportunities – Working to a structured list of key target accounts and managing onboarding with central team.
