An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Academic Registry as a Senior Administrator in the Student Immigration Compliance Team. This is a full-time, open-ended position within the Registry team, supporting all students studying with immigration permission.
The Student Immigration Compliance Team ensures the University complies with its duties as a Sponsor of Student visas, and offers expert advice, guidance and support to students and staff in relation to compliance with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) sponsorship requirements.
This important role is involved in all aspects of compliance activity, with a particular focus on issuing Confirmation of Acceptance to Study (CAS), undertaking timely reporting to UKVI, supporting administration of our Legacy Start-Up and Innovator visas, and ensuring that requirements with respect to the ATAS scheme are met. The role-holder will work collaboratively with colleagues in the Student Immigration Compliance Team and across the wider institution.
You will be highly motivated and organised, with the ability to multi-task across a varied and busy workload. You will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service. You will be confident in working with data, including analysing data and ensuring data integrity. An understanding of the immigration compliance landscape relating to student visas, and experience of supporting and communicating with international students, is desirable.

This post will be primarily based at the Eden Campus at Guardbridge, a state-of-the-art working environment for professional services units, with hybrid working arrangements in place as agreed with the Unit. The post-holder will occasionally be required to work at locations in St Andrews.
