The Commercial Planning Range Co-ordinator will support the Commercial Planning Controller (Ranging) to coordinate all forecasted commercial activities for the internal stakeholders. The role will be responsible for activities that support the gathering of forecasts from the trading categories, and other related functions and support the forecasting compliance in Food Commercial. What you'll do Build the annual Ranging Calendar across GM and Food and act as the interface into Retail for labour planning and into commercial teams for gathering all activity planning. Working with the Commercial Planning Controller and Retail to ensure sufficient labour is allocated to implement all space and range activity. Build relationships with category teams and support them in compliance with the ranging processes. Own the governance process of GM progress meetings at key points in the ranging process and hold multiple cross-functional teams to account for on time delivery throughout the process, giving the teams a rating based on compliance to the process. Provide progress tracking and report on compliance to timings and targets to the business on a weekly basis, as well as providing weekly summaries of what is landing in store. Act as the single point for provision of management information on ranging, including: Week by week retail labour activity; Product information for key events; Compliance tracking to key ranging process milestones. Support the Commercial Planning controllers with the Argos Critical path process and the Sainsburys Services team workload forecasting process. Who you are As a Ranging Coordinator for the Commercial Delivery team at Sainsbury's, you have Brilliant planning & organisational skills, with the ability to adapt to changing needs of the business. An analytical mindset to understand how activities and requests impact the forecast plan and the interdependencies between activities. You are Self-motivated to work on own initiative with good communication ability, written and verbal, to engage with a wide variety of cross-functional stakeholders. You have the ability to prioritise and respond accurately under pressure with a High level of focus on customer service with demonstrated ability to establish and maintain excellent internal & external customer relationships. You have an understanding of current ranging and commercial processes and knowledge of retail labour planning and routines. You should also be a Strong user of Excel and project planning tools and have Process management experience and knowledge of how to improve day to day working practices, with great attention to detail for keeping records and ability to document and share issues concisely and accurately.
