About us:
Rondel House provides a Day Service for older people who live in the Central & Eastern areas of The Vale of Glamorgan, who may suffer from age related frailty, chronic illness, disability and/or dementia.
We currently run a 5-day service, Monday to Friday, and provide a safe environment where people can interact and have fun through a range of activities. Our aim is to keep people as independent as possible but also to provide social stimulation and prevent loneliness. By coming in to a Day Service it allows carers to some time away from their caring duties and gives them some respite.
We have a range of facilities on site including a fully accessible environment; main day room for socialising; a quiet TV lounge; assisted bathroom; interactive technology and craft equipment. At Rondel House we provide a lunchtime meal to ensure good nutrition. Our experienced staff team are able to help with personal care and we have specialist disability equipment available on site. We aim to promote equality, choice, independence and personal development to improve quality of life for individuals.
