This interesting role will provide professional support and reassurance to our customers through our community alarm service, which importantly give vulnerable individuals the capability to live independently for longer. About the role? The Community Alarm scheme helps to make a genuine difference to our customers through monitoring and supporting their needs and helping them to feel safe living at home with over 2000 people using this service to benefit their wellbeing. As an Operations Assistant working within the Coleford region, you will play a pivotal role in working within a tight knit team to provide an important service and care through the Community Alarm service, predominately within the Forest of Dean area as well as part of the Cotswolds region. Through an empathetic approach, you will be responsible for advising, supporting and coordinating thoroughly through the Community Alarm equipment to a variety of different users and their families/carers. Due to the nature and sensitivity of the role, the successful candidate will need to demonstrate a caring, respectful and confidential approach and possess excellent interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, their families and the wider support network. As well as interacting closely with our customers, the role includes administrative duties relating to account management and stock control. You will need a good eye for detail and sound knowledge of Telecare Services in order to complete these duties successfully. The role will work alongside a number of partner agencies; such as third party supplier to ensure customer's needs and requirements are suitably met. This role is for 30 hours per week with flexible scheduling, but you must be available to work Tuesdays. You will need? A caring and compassionate approach.
