A manufacturing company based within Hartlepool is experiencing a period of growth resulting in a requirement for some additional resources within the credit control team.
Your new role
Due to a rapid period of growth, the business requires credit control candidates throughout the busiest period. The company is open to full-time and part-time hours, offering temporary or temporary to permanent contracts.
Main duties of the role include:
1. Responsibility for debt collection on multiple customer accounts
2. Handling account queries in a swift and professional manner
3. Opening new customer accounts and running credit reports
4. Maintenance of customer account master data
5. Monitoring held orders and releasing where necessary
6. Management of any legal proceedings on accounts
7. Taking customer payments over the phone
8. Filing and archiving finance paperwork
9. General ad hoc office admin and credit control duties
What you'll need to succeed
1. Previous credit control experience required (preferably in a large business but not essential)
2. Strong communication skills
3. IT literate and proficient in Excel
4. Excellent administrative skills
5. Good timekeeping and ability to manage own workload
