Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Typist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong typing skills and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all documents are accurately produced and formatted. Responsibilities
1. Accurately type and format documents, reports, and correspondence as required.
2. Perform data entry tasks with precision, ensuring all information is correctly inputted into relevant systems.
3. Assist with clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and organising documents to maintain an orderly office environment.
4. Utilise computer software including QuickBooks and Google Suite to manage financial records and documentation.
5. Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when answering calls and directing inquiries appropriately.
6. Support administrative functions by managing schedules, appointments, and other office-related tasks as needed.
7. Collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are completed efficiently and on time.
Requirements
1. Proven typing skills with a high level of accuracy and speed.
2. Experience in data entry and clerical work is highly desirable.
3. Proficiency in using office software, including Google Suite and QuickBooks.
4. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
6. A professional attitude with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality in all aspects of work.
7. Prior experience in an administrative role would be advantageous but is not essential.
