A mobile, independent veterinary service, providing a wide range of services from routine consultations to orthopaedic surgery at clients' homes, are seeking a Veterinary Surgeon to join their team. The role will cover a fantastic part of Kent which has beautiful beaches, rich culture, outdoor activities, culinary delights, and a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you are a nature lover, history buff, or simply looking for a seaside escape, the area has something special to offer.
The mobile Veterinary Unit has a fully fitted, operating theatre and all the usual equipment you would expect in a normal theatre, they also have a portable ultrasound machine and digital X-ray.
The experienced team comprises of Veterinary Surgeons and nurses, one of the Veterinary team has a passion for small animal medicine. The team typically work in pairs, ensuring that you will always have a qualified nurse alongside you throughout the day. Additionally, the team is readily available via WhatsApp for any necessary second opinions or support.
They don't offer specific consult times allowing you the flexibility to manage your consults at your own pace. You'll have downtime between appointments to compose your notes leisurely and transition smoothly to your next appointment without the pressure of working against the clock.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Strong communication skills are essential, as is a willingness to share knowledge.
The Rota:
• Full time
• 4 days per week
• 10-hour shifts
• No OOH
