An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Projects and Contracts Specialist - Copper Products, Other Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Metals and Value-Added Services to work across the UK.

The ideal candidate will have strong Sales, Business Development or Commercial experience in Copper Products, alternatively the candidate will have experience in Commercial Metals, There would also be a strong interest in candidates from Aerospace / High Value Metals (Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys, Super Duplex and Titanium), they may also have an interest in candidates who have sold products such as Forgings, Castings, Components, Machined Parts, Plastics or Engineered Parts and lastly, they would also look at candidates who have a strong Value Added Services Background to work across the UK.
The company sells into a variety of different markets and sectors such as the Defence sector, the Nuclear industry, Automotive clients, Cable Manufacturers and Battery Production companies. They are also looking to Break into and Develop within the Aerospace sector so experience of working in or selling to these sectors would be useful. Also, there is enormous potential for growth within the business as there is real scope to target other markets and much larger value work and contract work.
As a Projects and Contracts Specialist, you will be measured on financial figures achieved, the quality of work, the quality of the conversations you have with new and existing clients and ultimately, the Pipeline you build.
The client is looking to recruit candidates who can think strategically, who can help grow and develop the business and this role offers excellent and varied opportunities for career progression into more senior positions throughout the company or potentially within the wider group so you must be an extremely ambitious and forward-thinking individual who thrives on a challenge and enjoys making profit for the company.
The ideal candidate must have strong Sales, Business Development or Commercial expertise in Copper Products, Commercial Metals, Aerospace / High Value Metals (Aluminium, Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloys, Super Duplex and Titanium), other products such as Forgings, Castings, Components, Machined Parts, Plastics or Engineered Parts or you will have strong experience in Value Added Services.
