The Role
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teaching and learning across the school, stepping into whole-class teaching when required.
* Work closely with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Autism, and ADHD.
* Collaborate with teachers to plan, prepare, and deliver engaging learning activities.
* Assist in the implementation of individual education plans (IEPs) and provide targeted interventions.
* Uphold and promote safeguarding practices to ensure the well-being of all pupils.
Ideal Candidate
We are seeking an individual who:
* Holds a HLTA qualification or is a QTS holder looking to gain further experience in a supportive setting.
* Has experience working with children with SEND, particularly SEMH, Autism, and ADHD.
* Demonstrates a solid understanding of safeguarding procedures and best practices.
* Is proactive, adaptable, and committed to fostering a positive learning environment.
* Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
