Reporting to the Format & Space Planning Manager, you will work within the Range, Space and Formats team, you will be responsible for understanding our range performance with our customer-facing category and format teams through KPIs, reports, and data to drive commercial recommendations. The role will analyse sales, volume and margin data alongside a customer lens, to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement in our range performance.

Responsibilities
1. Responsible for analysing sales data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights to improve range performance.
2. This role will collaborate closely with the range and category teams to understand performance of skus and suggestions for optimisation of sales.
3. Maintain sales performance metrics, dashboards, and reports to track KPIs.
4. Support the range team in conducting deep-dive analysis to understand the drivers of sales performance and identify areas for optimization by store format, fulfilment channel and category.
5. Prepare and present data/insights to the Format and Space Planning Manager, as well as the Senior Range Manager in a practical way to help guide strategic decision making.
6. Proactively liaise with finance and commercial to understand trends and performance that they can support with
7. Regularly update line manager on progress and key issues
8. Attend internal meetings, providing support to the optimisation and commercial performance as required.
9. Identify improvements that can be made in modelling and recommend process changes to improve data, accuracy, and efficiency.
10. Participate in adhoc projects when required to support the business growth plan
Qualifications
11. Strong financial and analytical skills, with the ability to manage, manipulate and analyse complex data.
12. A level of commercial awareness, with a good understanding of business needs
13. Strong communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling feedback.
14. Proactive approach, willingness, and ability to identify when there is a need for new insights, new tools and process efficiencies
