An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Adult Social Care Service within Sefton Council for registered social workers to join the South area team, based at Magdalen House, Bootle.
The role
You will be working in a generic adult social care team, providing a service to residents with a variety of needs. You will complete assessments of social care needs and develop support plans for individuals; complete assessments for NHS Continuing Healthcare; support hospital discharges and attend a variety of different multi-disciplinary team meetings. You will complete safeguarding enquiries and may be involved with Court work.
You will be a motivated, enthusiastic, and experienced social worker, with a range of skills and a desire to work in adult social care. You will be based at Southport Town Hall, with an opportunity for some hybrid working, as part of a very supportive and experienced team of social workers and community assessors. You will receive regular professional supervision and have access to a range of training and development opportunities. If you are newly qualified, we will support you to complete the requirements of the ASYE programme.
