Position Summary
This role is positioned within the International Finance team. It will take lead responsibility for reviewing, monitoring and analysing Sales & Marketing, General, Administration and Insurance costs across the International offices. Ensuring all variances are fully understood and reported. The role will also liaise closely with Finance team based in the Weybridge Office and Globally.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Reporting to the FP&A Manager and providing support to the other members of the International Finance Team.
2. Reviewing/tracking Costs, including analysing variances against Forecast and Plan. Providing clear explanations of variances to Senior Leadership and Head Office.
3. Key role in the Annual Operating Plan and monthly Forecast process for the division for expenditure (operating & capital) across all International offices. Ensuring deadlines are met. submissions are accurate and complete. Including identification of and quantification of risks, trends and opportunities.
4. Partner the in-market Finance and Commercial teams to ensure correct financial procedures and controls are adhered to.
5. Assisting in the maintenance, development and improvement of the departments reporting including liaison with relevant stakeholders within the business.
6. Providing support in the administration of the Financial System/EPM (PBCS)

Qualifications:
8. CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
9. Good analytical degree and ‘A’ levels.
Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
10. A proactive self-starter who can work well as part of a team and independently on projects.
11. Strong attention to detail, analytical and able to prepare own analysis work.
12. Travel industry knowledge/experience would be an advantage but not essential.
13. At least three years’ experience in an Accounting or Finance role. Strong attention to detail,
analytical and able to prepare own analysis work.
14. Experience of using analytical or planning/EPM tools would be very advantageous
15. Advanced Excel (Macro level) and good knowledge of database software (such as Microsoft Access) would be an advantage.
16. Candidate must possess strong written and oral communication.
17. Experience of working within a large International organisation and in a multi-currency environment would be beneficial.
18. Ability to build and maintain good working relationships at all levels of seniority.
