Spire Portsmouth Hospital is looking for a Bank Radiology Department Assistant to join our busy department on a flexible basis. The successful applicant will assist the multi-disciplinary team to provide exemplary patient care and examination.

Duties and responsibilities:
* Care for patients, carers, visitors, and relatives during their visit to the Department
* Act as chaperone in line with policy
* Help with the movement of patients in the examination rooms
* Use the Radiology information system (RIS) to record the patients' Radiology episode
* Liaise with a wide range of staff caring for the patient, including Radiographers, Nurses, Radiologists, Consultants, and external departments
* Assist with audit projects as required
* Comply with Health & Safety policy and agreed procedures of the Radiology Department, local rules under IRMER, and Spire Healthcare policies
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness within the Radiology
* Maintain patient confidentiality at all times
* Work as part of a team
* Have knowledge of Radiology systems (RIS, PACS, IEP, Patient Database)
