We are a large busy training practice over 4 sites. This role will be based mainly at Chaddesden.
The practice has a gardening group, a walking group, undertakes park runs, has social activities which you and your family can choose to join if you wish.
Main duties of the job
The clinical Administration role is vital for the smooth running of the practice providing quality administrative services to our patients. Please see attached job description for more details.

Title Clinical Administrator
Reports to Digital Systems and administration manager
Accountable to GP Partnership
Job Summary Responsible for ensuring accurate data collection for clinical reporting and performance achievements for the management of patients chronic diseases, immunisation programmes, practice targets and drug monitoring.
They will work as part of a small team who focus on ensuring that we meet our contractual obligations including QOF and enhanced services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide set up and maintain accurate patient recall systems.
Main Activities
* To understand Ardens reporting to identify target patients.
* To be responsible for planning the patient journey when seeking and receiving healthcare related to long term conditions.
* Contact the target patients in a proactive manner this will include speaking to the patients directly on the telephone via both incoming and outgoing telephone calls.
* Monitor patients who are prescribed certain medication according to current guidance.
* Arrange necessary tests and ensure results are available prior to patients attending appointments.
* Arrange clinic appointments.
* Have a full understanding of practice income stream indicators to maximise practice income whilst maintaining quality patient care.
* Respond to inquiries from internal or external sources.
* Assist with projects to improve the quality of services provided within the practice.
* Attend meetings and training (which could be on your day off).
* Maintain confidential records and files.
