Job Description
As a Field Service Engineer with BP Energy, you will be responsible for installing, servicing, and repairing commercial Electric Vehicle charging points across your allocated patch in South West London. You will work closely with our team to ensure seamless operations and deliver exceptional customer service.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a qualified electrician background with electrical maintenance experience, JIB recognised UK competency-based qualification (electrotechnical Level 3 NVQ or formal UK electrotechnical apprenticeship), IET 18th Edition Wiring Regulations qualification (BS7671:2018), ECS card (Maintenance Electrician or electrician), driving license, and high level organisational and planning skills, effective communication skills, and the ability to build relationships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) with relevant qualifications in electrical engineering
* Practical experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
* Demonstrated knowledge of health and safety protocols and regulations
* Familiarity with electrical testing equipment and diagnostic techniques
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Able to work independently and as part of a team

Travel Requirement
This role requires up to 100% travel, with occasional overnight stays and an on-call rota for emergencies.
