Senior Reporting Director, Marketing Intelligence and Reporting, EMEA
Annalect is the data, technology, and analytics division of Omnicom. We help CMOs and their teams harness data, technology, and advanced analytics to grow their brands. We have built a variety of innovative product and specialist service solutions for clients and agency partners.
The EMEA team is responsible for global and regional relationships clients led from London, as well as the development of new data-driven marketing capabilities. They form part of our global team and collaborate closely with local market Annalect teams across EMEA as well as regional Omnicom agency partners.
TEAM RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Marketing Intelligence and Reporting, EMEA team is a globally integrated team that works very closely with the US-based Marketing Intelligence team and the Annalect India team to deliver scalable solutions at a global level.
Our SME team provides deep expertise in selling and delivering several Omni client solutions. These solutions are major differentiators that put Omnicom ahead of the competition. Specific responsibilities of the team are listed below.
1. To scope, support and drive delivery on all Omni Marketing Intelligence and Reporting work for one of Omnicom's Tier 1 clients, including:
* Data Taxonomies design & maintenance, including UTM
* Data Governance and QA
* Dashboard design, build and maintenance (Power BI)
* Data Pipelines design & delivery
* Media Planning Tool Deployment and Maintenance
ROLE SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Marketing Intelligence and Reporting Senior Director, who will work on supporting the Data Partner, EMEA in scoping, delivering and managing all team solutions for Omnicom's largest automotive account, across a large highly skilled team of practitioners in Reporting, Engineering, Taxonomy Governance, Tag Management and Data Governance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Strong oversight across business responsibilities, to the extent that challenges and opportunities are well understood, AND business-appropriate solutions connected to those challenges or opportunities are developed and brought to the SLT.
* Working closely with the Data Partner, DTO leads and PMO/Comms team to raise challenges and/or opportunities for solutions to drive growth for the agency, or to increase efficiency and productivity across our team.
* Support the team to deliver data operations and reporting solutions globally for Omnicom client by leading some client conversation as subject matter expert, and be responsible for successful scoping, execution, and delivery of the projects.
* Ensure that team output is of the highest standard by setting the standard for the work and improving the output across all specialisms in the team as required.
* Know the ambition of the clients' business, and the individual motivations of all key stakeholders. Set the vision and tone of the client relationship and build relationships with all key stakeholders.
* Maintain strong connections with other agencies and partner with Annalect's global performance reporting teams to ensure all projects are appropriately priced, resourced and teams are onboarded in a timely manner.
* Ensure clear communication and alignment between the client, agency teams, and all Annalect teams. Be responsible to identify and remove any blockers or risks in the projects.
* Design solutions for data pipelines, data operations, reporting and underlying data infrastructure as a part of project scoping.
* Exert strong positive influence over the professional development of the entire team - leading a collaborative environment where teammates actively look to support and develop others and taking personal responsibility for this culture.
* Looks to develop the skills needed in team members across the whole team. Plays a role in defining key skills all members of the team should develop (e.g., omni, design, product knowledge) and ensures there is a development programme for the team & account.
* Be part of and help drive the DTO meetings to drive expertise across the client account team. Responsible for ensuring there is a programme to knowledge share within the team and encourages others to participate. Keeps a track of the content within the programme and recommends new topics or content to those running the session. Leads by example on all training and development team wide.
* A thought-leader in the tools, processes, skills, platforms, and systems required to deliver work within their specialism.
* Able to inspire other team members and empower them in their delivery of solutions and capabilities.
* Participate in regular performance feedback and PDP sessions to ensure your role and performance goals are tracked regularly, as well as a well-defined development track is established for you.
* Support in creating and delivering pitch content.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
* Typically has 8 years of experience in data operations, media operations, reporting, dashboarding, or a related business intelligence practice.
* 5+ years focused within Media/Advertising companies being highly desirable.
* Experience in campaign performance reporting or programmatic performance reporting is highly desirable.
* Experience of leading a large team and managing operations in Reporting.
* Strong functional understanding of reporting and governance, including tools and best practices.
* Ability to define and operationalise processes and best practices.
* Ability to coordinate and effectively communicate across a wide range of geographically distributed teams, and disparate technical disciplines - an expert orchestrator.
* Strong understanding of Taxonomy best practices for capturing additional insight.
* Knowledge of automotive industry and common reporting metrics desirable.
* Tools knowledge: Preferred Power BI & SQL, with ability on other reporting tools considered representative of aptitude to learn Power BI.
