About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Business and Travel Lecturer to join our team on a full-time, temporary basis. In this role, you will deliver engaging and effective teaching to students studying business and travel-related courses, preparing them for successful careers in these dynamic sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality teaching in Business and Travel, covering a range of subjects within these fields.
* Plan, prepare, and assess lesson plans, assignments, and exams to ensure students' academic progress.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to students, helping them achieve their learning objectives.
* Contribute to the development and review of curriculum materials to meet the needs of current industry standards.
* Create an inclusive and interactive learning environment that supports student engagement and success.
Essential Requirements:
* A degree in Business, Travel, Tourism, or a related field (or equivalent).
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, CertEd) or a commitment to obtaining one.
* Experience in teaching or delivering training in a business or travel-related field, preferably in further education.
* Strong knowledge of the business and travel industries, including current trends and practices.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
