Description Are you an experienced Environmental Health professional with exposure to both Food Safety and Health and Safety? Our Food Safety and Advisory Services (FSAS) team, work with some of the worlds leading Food and hospitality brands, providing tailored consultancy advice and technical solutions projects to meet their Food Safety, and Health & Safety needs. We are seeking an Environmental Health Consultant to develop and deliver these projects, working closely with new and existing customers to identify their needs, building up customer relationships, identifying cross selling opportunities, and working alongside our Account Management and Sales teams to identify prospective new customers, and further grow our consultancy offerings. Responsibilities Including, but not limited to: Acting as a subject matter expert for NSF Food Consulting & Technical Solutions Understanding client's needs and requirements in food safety, health and safety and beyond Developing, managing, and delivering consulting and technical solutions projects, liaising with clients to provide updates and project expectations on an on-going basis Helping to grow NSF’s consulting offering by contributing to business development goals, developing solutions, cross-selling opportunities where appropriate Deliver KPIs related to revenue and margin Dealing with enforcement issues, such as enforcement notices, hygiene re-rating cases, and enforcement officer correspondence Defining project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals. Estimating the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals Coaching, mentoring, training and motivating project team internal and external resources and influencing them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work Qualifications Experience and detailed working knowledge of a variety of food industry sectors and the various industry, government and associations interactions Direct supervisory or leadership experience University degree in Environmental Health, related discipline, or equivalent combination of work experience and education. Registered with EHRB and strong knowledge of UK food safety, health and safety regulatory frameworks Knowledge of the principles, practices and regulations pertaining to food and health and safety including GMP, HACCP, GSFI, HASAWA and other industry best practices. Adequate knowledge of the principles, practices and regulations pertaining to food safety product and process development, shelf life and food labelling including mandatory and voluntary information and claims across the supply chain.
