Experience Directional Driller – Full Time

Utilities Infrastructure NZ Ltd was established in 2013, originally focused on the Horizontal Directional Drilling Industry but quickly saw UINZ had the potential to grow into a company with a bit more diversity. UINZ is now focused on multiple Utilities Installations including but not limited to:
* Water Reticulation (PE and PVC)
* Drainage (Sewer & Stormwater)
* Horizontal Directional Drilling
* Pipe Bursting
We are a progressive company and are looking for a person who is motivated and wants to be a part of our team culture. You will be required to work as part of a team, and we are always looking for individuals to put through training and up-skilling in their relevant fields.
Skills/Requirements
* Directional drilling experience - minimum 2 years’ experience
* Full driver’s license, Class 2 or 4 license W, T, R
* Construction/Utilities background preferred
* Competent in operating and driving heavy machinery
* Willing to perform labouring duties as required
* Traffic Controllers Qualifications advantageous
* A reasonable level of physical fitness, due to the physical nature of the position
* Be a reliable, honest, flexible team-player
* Will be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
* Some national travel will be required
All levels of experience considered; however, those with Directional Drilling experience & holding class 2/4 & WTR endorsed would be highly regarded. Candidates will be expected to be hands-on in this role and must be happy to labour.
