This role will require onsite presence due to the nature of the role with some flexibility as and when business requirements allow. Requirements Key Responsibilities Conduct hands-on data collection and analysis to gain a deep understanding of experimental results. Interface with lab equipment and actively participate in the setup and execution of experiments. Assist in project management tasks, including liaising with suppliers and sourcing components for experiments. Characterize optical designs and contribute to the evaluation and improvement of hardware performance. Continuously develop your scientific and data analysis skills to contribute effectively to the team. Essential Requirements Minimum of a bachelors level qualification in a technical subject. A strong foundation in programming, with experience in Python or C preferred. Able to conduct experiments, run tests, and evaluate results scientifically. Hands on. Enjoys being in the lab or field working with equipment, taking data to analyse. Must be within commuting distance of the office. Desirable Requirements Familiarity with UNIX-based operating systems. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing requirements Exposure to collaborative software development practices, such as version control using Git.
