We are looking for a new member of our team to be responsible for assessing staff for the Care Certificate.
This will initially be for a 12-month Fixed Term Contract.
You will work across the intermediate care units in Bolton and support staff in each of the units. You will be supported by the team of Managers, improvement officer and Head of Service, in order to complete your duties.
What do we do?
We provide 24-hour residential care for people who require continuation of care and rehabilitation, or assessment of future care needs. Our aim is to support residents to regain as much independence as possible, by involving residents with their care needs, to return home or move onto alternative care arrangements. We recognise the skills and experience individuals can bring and promote joint working, with both NHS and Local Authority staff working on-site.
About You
You must be experienced in providing care in a nursing or residential home.
You should be a friendly, effective team player, and be willing to support and direct the team to deliver effective, person-centred care.
You must have experience of observing and assessing staff to an agreed standard.
You must be able to use a computer as you will be expected to use and monitor the computer-based information systems.
Unfortunately, at this time Bolton Council is not able to offer sponsorship for these positions, therefore you must have Right to Work in the UK.
