Role: IT Technician Location: Swindon (hybrid) Salary: Up to £32,000 My client is seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our growing team. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of internal and clients' IT systems. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd line support, resolving technical issues, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction. What will you be doing as an IT Support Engineer Provide 1st and 2nd line support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues. Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware. Monitor and maintain client systems, ensuring optimal performance and security. Document and track issues using our ticketing system. Assist in the implementation of new technologies and systems. Provide training and support to end-users. What experience do you need as an IT Support Engineer Proven experience in a similar IT support role. Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Familiarity with networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, etc.). Experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Relevant IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus.
