Our Area Operations North team has a fantastic opportunity for a HGV Driver/OHL Mate to join them in Penrith. Based in the Penrith Depot, and working as part of the Operations team, you will be responsible for the loading/unloading and the delivery/collection of plant, materials and other items to and from work sites. You will ensure all items are correctly secured and safe to transport and that legislation relating to the operation of an HGV is complied with in full at all times. To give you an idea of how this HGV Driver (CE) and OHL Mate role would look and feel, here are some of the things you could expect to do: Operate plant on site as required and in line with individual training and authorisation Assist Overhead Line Workers with the inspection, maintenance, repair and construction of the overhead electricity supply network Operate vehicle-based lifting and loading equipment and both wheeled and tracked plant, 180 and 360 excavators Who we re looking for To apply for this role you will need your Class 1 driving licence (essential) and be within 30 minutes drive of Penrith.
