Join the Close Brothers Motor Finance Team where your main job will be to assist our dealer partners and end customers by manually reviewing and processing motor finance proposals.
Our ideal team member will have previous experience in building and sustaining great relationships through providing excellent and efficient service. You must also be self-motivated and have a good eye for detail.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Processing customer proposals and underwriting them in line with company policies and procedures.
2. Liaising with motor dealer partners regarding the outcome / decisions of a proposal that has been underwritten.
3. Negotiating with dealers, the figures and requirements to make the deal acceptable to CBMF and appropriate for the customer.
4. Processing of customers documentation.
5. Adhering to requirements of dealer procedures along with certain database checks for items that may occur when underwriting e.g. CIFAS (UK Fraud Prevention Service).
6. Operation of our proposal system with clear notes and rationale which adheres to company standard and audit process.
General
1. Completing customer security checks.
2. Processing the payment of funds to our dealer partners.
3. Completing general administration tasks related to new business activity.
4. Maintaining an understanding of the Motor market.
WE WOULD LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU HAVE:
1. Experience and are confident with using Microsoft Office tools and have the ability to learn new systems.
2. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
3. Good attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
4. Familiarity with using negotiation skills within an operational process.
5. Educated to GCSE standard (5 Qualifications Grades A-C) or equivalent level of study or experience.
IT IS NOT ESSENTIAL BUT IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU:
1. Have previous knowledge of FCA regulations relating to Compliance, Data Protection, Anti Money Laundering, Consumer Credit Detective or Consumer Credit Act.
2. Have previous experience in an underwriting position and having held a mandate.
