We are currently looking for a motivated Junior Garment Technologist to join our product development team. Reporting to our Technical Lead, you will be required to collaborate confidently with cross functional teams to foster continuous improvement and maintain our high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:
* Supporting and reporting to the Technical Lead
* Liaising closely with cross functional teams within the business as well as suppliers and factories
* Assisting with quality checks and measuring of samples against the Tech Pack upon receipt from suppliers. Check samples against the CAD to sense-check styling and labelling
* Assisting with the arrangement and management of fit sessions across menswear and womenswear
* Update Tech Packs in accordance with comments made during the fit session and liaise with the relevant teams to establish next steps. Ensure accurate comments are communicated to suppliers to guarantee the next sample is as expected
* Collaborate with our Production Assistant to chase outstanding samples from suppliers to ensure they arrive and are fitted in accordance with the critical path
* Conduct random quality control checks at our warehouse
* Review our product returns data across men’s and women’s products when the return levels are higher than normal. Work closely with the Technical Lead and Customer Service team to establish root cause to help drive improvements
* Work with the Technical Lead and the wider team on projects involving sizing and block reviews across all categories
* Review and assess garment and fabric test reports
Candidate Profile:
* Adaptable, with a willingness to learn and grow
* Keen interest in fashion and garment technology
* 1 – 2 years of experience in a similar position, working across menswear, womenswear, and accessories
* Experience in updating and managing tech packs
* Knowledge of footwear and leather is desirable
* Knowledge of tailoring is desirable
* A thorough understanding of grading and grade rules
* Knowledge of garment fitting and fitting issues is essential
* Ability to use initiative to elevate the quality and fit of products
* Experience working directly with suppliers and factories
* An understanding of the manufacturing processes
* A complete understanding of garment construction, fabric and garment testing
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with other departments within the company, as well as third parties
* Commercially minded
* Strong time management and organisational skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
