We are now looking for motivated and detail-driven Assistant Project Managers to join our Technical Communities in the South West of England. The Role As an Assistant Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in delivering engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning activities. You’ll ensure that your work package is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards. Your Key Responsibilities Define the work scope within the contract or package and manage its interfaces with other project elements. Maintain clear and effective communication with stakeholders to drive successful project execution. Oversee the List of Deliverables (LOD) and ensure all objectives are met. Secure and manage resources, ensuring the right expertise is in place. Work closely with the project controls team to develop and update project/programme plans, including cost, risk, and resource management. Manage change control processes as project scope evolves, keeping all documentation up to date. Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles to monitor and improve project performance. What You’ll Need We’re looking for candidates with strong project management knowledge and experience in using key tools and software: Essential Skills: Proficiency in project management tools & techniques Experience with Primavera P6 or MS Project for planning Knowledge of cost management software (e.g., SAP) Familiarity with risk management tools (e.g., ARM, EcoSys, risk, Safran) Strong written and verbal English communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Why Join Us?
