Role Overview: The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities on site, the candidate will be working alongside and in tandem with other Alternative Heat (AH) delivery team representatives and will be required to interface with various AH departments such as the design and commercial teams. It is deemed necessary that you are comfortable in dealing with clients and acting in the best interest of Alternative Heat.

Key Responsibilities
To manage and develop your site Management Team to ensure the delivery of a Project in a timely manner.
Attend on-site meetings to ensure the client is satisfied with current progress and the forecast of up-and-coming works and highlight any risks to Project delivery
Ensure your site teams are working as efficiently as possible, and all high-level objectives have been set out for your team to accomplish target dates
Ensure all drawings that the site teams are working on are the correct revision
Ensure Project value, drawings, specifications, and order are agreed and in place before works commence.
Ensure company HSEQ policies & procedures are adhered to throughout the duration of the Project
Ensure all RAMS are accurately developed throughout the Project to cover all elements of work being carried out.
Correspond directly with client/customer and other associated Contractors where necessary throughout the duration of the Project
Ensure all plant and equipment are procured correctly, in line with the specification, and client requirements
Where required, survey existing services to determine appropriate options for successful integration with M&E services and BMS control packages.
Throughout the Project track costs (material and labour) to ensure the Project will be deliver as per original target spends
Assess requirements for labour and sub-contractors to undertake various elements of installation work.
Manage all sub-contractors to ensure they fulfil company requirements
Prepare an accurate programme of work to ensure all works are planned in a manner which key dates can be met
Provide accurate information on Contract variation and monthly claims
Ability to set out your own workload and prioritise the key elements of the Project to ensure we deliver Project Programmes
Assist in the preparation of accurate installation drawings and “as installed” drawings upon completion of works.
Issue of daily reports, containing completed work, road blocked and 4-week look ahead
Ensure all pressure tests are completed, witnessed & recorded
Completion of SAT Documentation
Assist with the preparation of Operation & Maintenance Manuals upon completion of the Project.
Ability to work in conjunction with the wider MEP Management within your team to plan and deliver each Contract in a proactive and efficient manner
Ability to work in conjunction with the site teams and Contractors onsite to ensure all work is carried out safely and to a high standard
Any other duties deemed necessary by Management.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Previous experience at a similar level.
Relevant Site management Qualifications
Ability to work as part of a wider delivery team, being responsible for all delivery activities, reporting into the project manager and wider alternative Heat team.
Extensive knowledge of and ability to deliver contracts in line with current installation regulations.
Computer skills including the ability to operate Microsoft Office, excel & works planner.
Organised and structured approach to your work.
Full UK Driving Licence
Good interpersonal Skills
Self-motivated and enthusiastic
Desirable Criteria:
Trade background within either the mechanical or electrical industries
General construction knowledge of Civils and Building Fabric
Previous Experience delivering projects within the Decarbonisation sector
Familiar with the use of Fieldview / 4Projects and Openspace programs
