Senior Operations Manager – Luxury Department Store

About:

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage the stock and admin team to ensure the smooth operation and efficiency of all store processes.
* Develop and implement strategies to optimise stock management, including product flow, stock integrity, and replenishment to meet store demands.
* Oversee the scheduling of teams, facility management, and application of internal controls and operational procedures by the Sales and Operations team.
* Coordinate the activities of runners who facilitate product movement from the stockroom to the shop floor.
* Work closely with the Director to prepare and execute the opening of new stores.
* Act as the right hand to the Store Director, ensuring that the vision set for the teams is delivered without compromise, with a focus on customer satisfaction.
* Provide coaching, mentoring, and effective people management to team members, fostering a culture of growth and development.
* Maintain a client-centric approach in all operational activities, ensuring customer needs are always met.
* Collaborate with other managers to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across all store functions.
* Act as the primary point of contact between the Stock, sales, and operation and the Store Managers, facilitating communication and goal alignment.
Requirements:
* Strong luxury background managing large teams in a London Department store and experience implementing new procedures to streamline processes.
* Have an authentic approach and demonstrate strong communication skills
* A true leader, eloquent, well spoken and an Ambassador to the brand.
