Haberdashers’ Adams is a selective state grammar school with academy status situated in the small market town of Newport in rural Shropshire. It is a newly co-educational school from September 2024, taking approximately 30 girls into year 7. There are five forms of entry and currently about 1050 pupils on roll; approximately 100 of these are boarders. The Sixth Form has about 370 students of whom about 120 are girls.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
To manage, develop and promote the Library and Archives at Haberdashers’ Adams and to provide administrative support to the Sixth Form leadership. Please see the attached for further information and responsibilities.
Salary and Working Hours
Actual salary £19,224-£19,963pa (Dependent on experience).
Working hours 9.00am-4.00pm Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri and 9.00am-5.00pm on a Wednesday with 30 minutes for lunch. Term-time plus one week.
