Director for Resources (S151 Officer)
Salary: Up to £130,000 per annum plus benefits
We are seeking a dynamic, innovative, experienced, and strategic leader to join our Senior Leadership Team as the Director for Resources (S151 Officer). This is an exceptional opportunity to drive financial management, enhance revenues, benefits & debt operations, and oversee key corporate functions such as procurement, commissioning, and contract management within one of the most vibrant and diverse boroughs in the West Midlands.
As Director for Resources (S151 Officer), you will play a critical role in shaping the future of Dudley Borough. You will be responsible for overseeing and transforming the full spectrum of financial services, ensuring robust financial governance, and leading the delivery of efficient services that contribute to the Council’s overall success.
Key responsibilities include leading the development of the integrated financial strategy, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, managing revenue services, overseeing procurement, and assurance and oversight of commissioning services.
