Windrush Care - Home Care Assistant:
Hourly wage: - £12.70 per hour (Mon-Fri) £14.70 per hour (Weekends) + enhancements for Bank holidays
Travel allowance: - 40p per mile (From home to first call and onwards, then back home)
Clear and concise pay scales …. with nothing hidden. For one hour of work – you will be paid our stated hourly rate (dependent on weekdays and weekends)
Plus - all hours worked will accrue holiday time – which will then be available to use as paid holiday. For every 8 hours of work, you do – you will accrue 1 hour of holiday leave .
Location: We provide care and support calls to clients in the Cheltenham area.
Hours available: - Like everyone, our clients have a choice on when they wish to receive their care and support needs. We are currently looking for candidates who can work any hours and any days between;
* 07.00am - 14.00pm
* All of our carers must have every other weekend availability.
What’s actually involved as a home carer at Windrush Care?
* Companionship visits
* Assistance with personal care tasks
* Supporting with medication and ensuring our clients are safe with their medication
* Assisting with housework, preparing meals or even walking the dog!
* Helping with errands such as food shopping, posting letters or picking up prescriptions.
