9 months fixed term contract
Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm
This can lead to the contract being extended, or permanent.
Flexibility: Managing own diary with 45 mins lunch.
Equipment: A laptop, mobile, headsets, etc. will be provided.
Location: Can be based anywhere in the UK, 70 percent home based and 30 percent travel, all travel paid.
Job Role:
1. IQA/internal verification duties for level 3 hospitality back of house and front of house.
2. Must have IQA experience or assessing or end point experience in Hospitality.
3. Role is home based and online, with travel to see the assessors with the learners in the workplace.
4. Determine the overall grade for the apprentice based on the combination of performance in all assessment activities.
5. Participate in standardisation and training activities.
6. Full induction is given: 2 days remote and 3.5 days away in person – all paid for.
Essential Requirements for the Role:
1. Must be IQA qualified such as CAVA, V1, D34.
2. Assessor qualified – such as TAQA or A1 or D32/D33.
3. Must have been either an IQA or end point assessor or have assessor experience.
4. Worked in the past for a couple of years in a hospitality role for front of house or reception, food and beverage etc., or back of house or basic chef/cook, catering or in a supervisory or management role.
5. Must have access to a vehicle.
