We are working with a fresh produce manufacturer in Lincolnshire, who need an Interim Packaging Manager for initial 6-12 month period. Reporting into the Operations Manager, you will be supporting the site by strengthening the packaging team and improving packaging processes.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
* Acting as a liaison between suppliers, manufacturers, and the operations team.
* Managing the packaging process from conception to launch, ensuring everything runs smoothly.
* Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system.
* Potential involvement in future contract negotiations.
You will need to:
* Have food manufacturing experience
* Have completed roles that involved improving packaging processes
* Have a collaborative and team-oriented approach
* Be available now
To the successful candidate they are offering a daily rate of circa £450 per day plus expenses.
