We are currently partnering with a SEN School near Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, seeking an additional SEN Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This role involves supporting students aged 2-19 years old with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and Autism (ASD). It requires commuting to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
Role:
- Support students with SLD, PMLD, and ASD.
- Assist pupils with EHCPs.
- Address emotional and educational needs of students.
- Collaborate with class teachers to meet learning and emotional needs.
- Contribute to creating a positive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Experience with SEN is desirable.
- Effective communication skills with school staff, parents, and carers.
- Certificates in supporting teaching and learning are advantageous.
- Available full-time, Monday to Friday (08:30 - 15:30).
- Must be commutable to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire.
- Must have full-time work entitlement.
- Must possess a valid Child & Adult DBS.
