As an apprentice, you’ll work at a company and get hands-on experience. You’ll gain new skills and work alongside experienced staff.
What you’ll do at work
* Assist in the installation, calibration, and maintenance of instrumentation and control equipment
* Support experienced technicians in troubleshooting and repairing various instruments, including sensors, transmitters, and control valves
* Participate in routine inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and safety
* Document maintenance activities, calibrations, and repairs accurately and comprehensively
* Follow safety protocols and industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and improve system performance
