To oversee and deliver projects by managing all aspects of communications between the relevant and external stakeholders and suppliers.
The electrical project engineer would be required to work closely with the engineering team, operations team and compliance to help continuously improve the performance, efficiency and to ensure environmental compliance of the incineration process, steam generation and associated plant and equipment.
Reporting to the engineering manager you will be responsible for:
1. Collaborate closely with engineering, maintenance especially EC&I engineer and operations and serving as the primary link for defect resolution and project coordination.
2. Provide strategic advice to Senior management, highlighting key commercial and operational implications.
3. Regularly engage with engineering, Maintenance, and operations teams to ensure health and safety, environmental and operational considerations are integrated during the tender assessment process.
4. Oversee and coordinate contractors, conducting necessary inductions.
5. Act as a Deputy in the absence of the EC&I engineer.
6. Identify and develop future projects and capital investment proposals.
7. Manage contracts from initiation to completion.
8. Design and implement solutions to operational and engineering challenges while ensuring projects adhere to budget and timeline constraints.
9. Oversee project commissioning and facilitate training for operational and engineering teams, including the creation of technical documentation and procedures.
Ideally, a HNC or similar in a relevant engineering subject such as electrical/electronic measurement or control engineering.
IOSH/NEBOSH certification is required; HV/SAP experience is advantageous.
