We are looking for a hard-working, driven, self-disciplined, self-motivated, experienced administrator with knowledge and skills in an office-based role to join our office team at the company’s head office in Bury.
Due to the nature of the business and the dynamics of its core team, the position’s day-to-day routine will be widely varied, presenting the individual with a different challenge at each moment of each day whilst carrying out their day-to-day responsibilities.
Proven experience / confidence in the following fields will be an advantage for the candidate to be considered:
* Good telephone manner: As part of the role, you will require confidence in answering and importantly in making regular calls to professionals and non-professionals. A balance of empathy and firmness is required to maintain the relationships required.
* People skills / approachability: The role will involve forming new relationships with unknown third parties both over the phone and in person. A large degree of friendliness when communicating with members of the public will be required. The candidate must have an air of approachability and trustworthiness but also professionalism in order to forge, maintain and benefit from such relationships.
* Confidentiality: Due to the nature of the commercial information you will be privy to, the candidate must maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion in all communications at all times with a keen eye on protecting the best interests of the business.
* Interpersonal skills & Communication: You will be working as part of a team environment, and communication will be a key component to being successful in the role whether communicating with colleagues, customers, suppliers, purchasers, property professionals, or tenants.
* Rapport building, salesmanship & negotiation skills: This will be integral in many aspects of the role such as when negotiating with potential customers and team members, further dealing with commercial agents to ensure maximum efforts are expended on behalf of the company.
* Report writing: You will be expected to create regular updates and summaries for your colleagues on day-to-day activities to ensure the wider team is kept up-to-date at all times. Good written communication skills are essential.
* Time-keeping and organization: You should be comfortable setting and keeping your own deadlines and organizing your work accordingly to ensure everything is completed in a timely, prioritized manner.
* Being Proactive: You will be expected to be proactive in your work, obtaining the answers to questions which may arise.
* Efficiency: The work environment within the business is fast-paced and requires an individual who does not get easily overwhelmed when tasks require completing in a short space of time and under pressure. Resilience and efficient working are key to performing at the high standard required.
* Basic Microsoft Office experience and computer literacy: Required.

Work Schedule:
Full-time employment will consist of a 9am - 5pm working day Monday to Friday.
Salary:
Up to £28,000 per year based, among other factors, on the level of the applicant's experience.
