We are seeking an experienced Nurse Colposcopist to join our team, working across the SASH gynaecology outpatient clinics. The Nurse Colposcopist will work alongside the multidisciplinary team to deliver a responsive and compassionate service that adheres to both National and local guidelines. Whilst also leading the team based at the Women's centre in Crawley. Main duties of the job We are looking for an experienced and passionate Nurse Colposcopist to join our dynamic Gynaecology team. In this role, you will practice independently as a BSCCP-accredited Nurse Colposcopist, taking on the role of Deputy Colposcopy Screening Programme Lead (CSPL) for the Trust as per Public Health England guidelines. You will lead the Colposcopy nursing service, providing expert care and guidance and also be responsible for the wider dedicated team of nurses.You will be responsible for maintaining a cost-effective service that aligns with objectives and goals. Your duties include managing a patient caseload within the Women's Centre, offering support to patients and their families, practicing within the guidelinesYou will work closely with medical and nursing staff, the management team, and other multidisciplinary team members to ensure the seamless delivery of our Colposcopy Service whilst overseeing the Women's Centre that also delivers Hysteroscopy services and Fast Track clinics.This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the service and department.
