NXTGEN have an outstanding opportunity for a Finance Business Partner to join a rapidly growing business currently based just north of Peterborough. Following a new wave of investment, the business has big plans for 2023. As part of the evolution of the business, they have recently formed a new FP&A team that this position will be a part of. The long-term plan for the team is to drive change to maximize profitability through building strong relationships both internally and externally and through insightful financial advice.
As Finance Business Partner, you will work closely with a range of senior operational stakeholders within the businesses central region, creating active partnerships with regional management and group finance. You will provide quality and detailed insight on financial performance as well as being at the forefront of different aspects of strategic forecasting and budgeting. You will also deliver month-end reporting and submissions, ensuring all budgets and forecasts remain up to date and accurate. There will also be an opportunity to work with stakeholders on other projects, and it will be your role to ensure these projects remain on budget while delivering the required ROI and productivity for the business.
Key responsibilities within the role will include:
* Add value that will lead to local decision-making by providing real-time support and analysis.
* Lead on building strategic budgets & forecasts, working closely with senior management and vital business functions.
* Develop and monitor critical success metrics supporting business performance and driving profitability.
* Drive continuous process improvement, standardization, and reporting enhancements.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with regional senior management.
* Own business reporting for the Central region including both weekly and monthly business performance reports.
* Influence regional leadership on business performance, build strategies and be a key point of contact for the sales, construction, and land teams.
The successful candidate will ideally be a fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent) with strong stakeholder engagement and financial reporting skills. You will demonstrate excellent Excel skills and will be confident analyzing large volumes of data, before utilizing this information to influence key decisions. Candidates will have ideally worked within a fast-paced environment previously, although this is not essential. An inquisitive mind and a desire to positively impact the operational arm of this business will be key to succeeding within this role.

Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience.
