The Opportunity It is an exciting time to be joining IPN, we are looking for a Transitional Shared Services Manager based in Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The Role The Transactional Finance Manager will take responsibility for all aspects of Transactional Finance Shared Services Centre focusing on customer service, timeliness accuracy, cashflow management, system and process development and KPI reporting. To integrate new business acquisitions into the Transactional Finance shared services function. Our kitchens in Thirsk and Kinmel produce dry, wet, and baked foods which are enjoyed by dogs and cats all over the world. Key Accountabilities of Transactional Finance Manager: Management of the Accounts Receivable Ledger, ensuring overdue debt is minimised, deductions are cleared, cash collection maximised and the ledger is clean. Management of the Accounts Payable Ledger ensuring timely processing of invoices, query resolution & supplier payments. Minimise supplier holds and debit balances. Manage and develop the Transactional Services team, optimise performance, succession plan, ensure process notes and cross training. Drive automation and technological development of the Transactional Shared Service function aligned to a roadmap agreed with the Director of Finance, Governance and Control. Develop and roll out a cash collection and credit management cycle. Support system upgrades and successful roll outs across the team. Support the site teams and management accountants by delivering an accurate, accelerated close timetable. Liaise with external auditors to support the year end audit. Plan and execution of Transactional Finance integration into the Shared Service function.
