Refuse Vehicle Sales Office Manager required in Dursley.
- Starting salary up to £38-45,000 per annum pending experience.

Our client, one of the UK's largest refuse vehicle specialists, is currently looking to hire a Sales Office Manager to join their vehicle head office in Dursley.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and the Managing Director, as the Sales Office Manager you will be working together to coordinate and support our client's refuse vehicle sales activity and business development. You will be managing the sales office team and working closely with the sales and production team to deliver exceptional customer service. Measuring and reporting on the performance of all sales activity. Help manage existing relationships and identify upsell opportunities with those existing relationships.
Your key duties will include:
- Managing the day to day operations of the refuse vehicle sales office.
- Monitoring and managing all sales enquiries.
- Preparing and managing the sales budget and sales forecast.
- Tracking and reporting on the KPI’s and sales team performance.
- Preparing and presenting comprehensive sales reports highlighting key achievements.
- Liaising with the production team to makes sure the sales team and customers have consistent feedback on product delivery.
- Driving internal department communication and collaboration, ensuring that internal departments are working together to meet customer satisfaction.
- Supporting and helping with the development of new Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) and sales office processes.
- Working with the Head of Sales to manage and control vehicle stock.
- Undertake any additional task required by management in support of the safe and effective operation of all departments.
- Ensure all company rules relating to Health and Safety are adhered to.
To be eligible for this role you should posses:
- A strong background in the automotive industry and ideally have worked with commercial/refuse vehicles.
- Experience and proven track record of sales office management.
- Be able to deliver outstanding customer service.
- Self-motivated drive to succeed and beat targets.
- Ability to work as part of a team with a proactive and enthusiastic attitude.
- Professional and courteous approach to customer service.
- High standard of verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient computer skills including experience with Microsoft Office packages.
- Proven track record for time management and personal organisational skills.
- Respectful and empathetic approach to work colleagues and customers.
